I designed the website, ABCDisco, in tribute to the disco era. The legacy it left behind is still seen today, and the site is an alphabetical guide to disco. Each letter represents a word, iconic to the period, for example B stands for Bee Gees, C stands for Cher.
The design of the interface is dramatically different from what we expect to see from the disco era. The black and white design enables us to focus on the various photographs, or dance tutorials. This adaptable/adaptive design is possible thanks to the use of a sharp and effective grid, dividing the space in balanced sections. The main focus is the capital letter on the screen that enhances the navigation.
